Tour duration: 5 Hours
Our most popular tour begins with a historic exploration of Charlottetown landmarks as we drive out of the city.
A short drive through the countryside takes us to the beautiful north shore of PEI, where you will see beautiful vistas including, lighthouses, red cliffs, sand dunes, north shore beaches, mussel farms, and fishing villages.
The tour includes a stop at historic Dalvay by the Sea, a national historic site.
There are stops along the way to explore PEI’s National Park and its beautiful beaches plus a visit to The Dunes, an Island icon with beautiful, quality, island crafts and an incredible garden to explore.
Then it’s on to a true gem, the harbour at North Rustico. This north shore Acadian fishing village is where you will see a working fishing village and learn about the lobster fishing industry on PEI. You’ll have the opportunity to see one of the oldest lighthouses on the Island here as well.
As we depart, we will drive through the PEI National Park with its beautiful views and abundance of wildlife (Island fox) and a stop at the bluffs overlooking the beach and red cliffs.
Finally, a crowd favorite: it’s on to a to Green Gables House, the house of the fictional character Anne of Green Gables (photo stop only). Additional time can be added if you wish to visit the site itself.
The next stop is a brief visit to the PEI Preserve Company housed in an old 1913 butter factory for a taste of their world-famous Island made preserves. Finally, we will return to Charlottetown through the beautiful hills of New Glasgow.

Frequently Asked Questions
We would like additional time at Green Gables Heritage Place, is this possible?
The tour is designed for only a photo stop but we are always happy to offer to extend our tours. In order to do a full visit of Green Gables Heritage Place with entrance we suggest adding an additional hour to your tour. You can do so at booking by choosing to add it during the online booking process or contacting us to book.
Is there a lunch stop during this tour?
There is no scheduled lunch stop during your tour; however, we do provide a muffin as a snack during the tour. There are some stops during the tour where a light snack can be purchased. If you would like to arrange for a sit down lunch we suggest adding an additional hour. You can do so at booking by choosing to add it during the online booking process or contacting us to book. Our office staff can provide suggestions and sample menus in advance of your tour as well as reservations to arrange this.
Are there costs for admissions at certain locations?
This tour does not require any additional admission fees to be paid.
Our large group Transit van is the ideal vehicle for adult groups of 6 to 12 passengers. Should your group be smaller you may consider the same tour for a smaller group in one of our 6 passenger vans. Please be aware that while our 6 passenger vans do have the capacity for 6 people, should all those people be adults we strongly encourage upgrading to our large group Transit van for comfort.

Terms and Conditions
- We require 7 days cancellation notice prior to your tour departing. You will be refunded the full amount less a 10% administration cost if canceled prior to 7 days before departure. Cancellation less than 7 days, including “no shows” will not be refundable.
- Exceptions are provided for cruise ship passengers when their cruise ship cancels its visit to the Port of Charlottetown. In this circumstance, they will receive a full refund.
- We cannot accommodate motorized scooters.
