"I truly believe that travel should be fun and it is my goal as a Tour Guide or Tour Director to ensure that I give the guests an enjoyable and memorable experience. I have the best "job" in retirement!"
Before coming to PEI in 2006 from Toronto Walter worked for Air Canada for 20 years and retired early as Director of Inflight Service. Upon arrival here he was hired as GM at the Stanley Bridge Country Resort followed by 5 years at the Best Western Hotel in Charlottetown. For the last three years, Walter has enjoyed a part-time position as Step On Guide welcoming passengers from the cruise ships to PEI and escort them around our beautiful island. In 2016 he joined Target Tours as a Step-On Guide meeting visitors from across North America and introducing them to the many interesting aspects of our Province.
He has since completed training to become a Tour Director and has escorted several customers on off-island travel.
Walter and his wife Pam live in Ten Mile House in a wonderful home bordering on the Confederation Trail where they enjoy many wonderful walks and grow a large variety of vegetables in our garden.
