Halifax City Tour

Length: 3 hours

Halifax is the business, educational, and cultural center of the Canadian Maritimes.   This tour highlights numerous museums, churches, and institutions of higher learning, as well as parks, monuments, and historic sea port.

Peggy's Cove Tour

Length: 3 Hours

With its breathtaking location on a narrow, coastal inlet characterized by wave-worn granite boulders and crashing surf, it’s easy to see why this charming little village is perhaps Canada’s most photographed. Begin your day with a pleasant drive along the Nova Scotia Lighthouse Coast.

The Cabot Trail

Length: 8 – 9 Hours

Hailed as one of the most spectacular drives in the world this is a “Do Not Miss” if you are visiting the area. See the jaw-dropping ocean and mountain views with plenty of photography opportunities.  We will stop periodically for rests and pictures.

Cape Breton Historical Day Tour

Length: 7 hours

During your tour, we will stop at the Alexander Graham Bell Museum where you can view this man’s spectacular achievements as well as historical artifacts. We will then take in a portion of the Cabot Trail with photo opportunities from the stunning views. .

Bras D'or Lakes Tour

Length: 7 -8 Tours

From Sydney, we will depart to circle the Bras D’or Lake, an inland sea. During the trip around the lake we will drive through Eskasoni First Nations, the largest first nation in Eastern Canada and learn some of their history. We will continue on to Highland Village where you will be able to explore a recreation of an early settlement

Specialty Tours

Louisbourg National Historic Site

Length: 4-6 hours

Travel back in time at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. The year is 1744 and the Fortress is trading salt cod with France and much of Europe, an endeavor that was very prosperous. See this meticulously reconstructed 18th-century town and speak with one of the re-enactors to learn what life was like back then.

Gaelic History & Culture

Length: 4-6 hours

Visit the Cape Breton Gaelic College where they teach Gaelic as well as many of the culture’s traditions. We can also make a stop at the Highland Village Museum where you can learn a Gaelic phrase and take part in a traditional Ceilidh.

French History

Length: 4-6 hours

Learn how the Acadians lived in Chéticamp, Cape Breton. Visit Les Trois Pignons to tour the museum and learn about the French history of the area. We will also visit Le Centre de la Mi-careme which showcases one of the oldest Acadian traditions: crafted masks and their history in the culture.
